You and your pup will receive 5 one-hr classes in a group setting
Did you know that your pup's primary and secondary socialization periods occur before the age of 5 months? Taking your pup to puppy classes is a great way to safely socialize your pup, providing a strong foundation for the rest of his/her life!
Classes will be taught on a revolving schedule with a different topic each week. Different owners and pups may come and go from this class.
Class Outline (approximate):
20 Minutes - Socialize with other pups.
10 Minutes - Handle your puppy's parts for less stressful veterinary visits.
15 Minutes - Use luring techniques and positive reinforcement to teach basic obedience.
15 Minutes - A Special Topic (one of below)
Veterinary records must be provided to show that puppy started its vaccination series at least 10 days prior to the first class.

Cues Taught: Sit, Down, Sit-Stay, Down-Stay, Stand, Come, Off, Leave-It, Loose Leash Walking, Heel

How: We will find your dog's behavioral threshold (proper distance from other dogs) and utilize positive reinforcement/negative punishment techniques

Vaccination Records: Rabies, Bordetella, DHLPP (Please provide records from veterinarian)
Class size is limited to 7 dogs.
The first class of the 7-class series will be a review of the curriculum, payments and paperwork, safety rules, etc. For this class, we will meet in the Home and Family Arts Building at the fairgrounds. Please do not bring your dog to the first class!
No Refund Policy: There are no refunds for missing a class. You may, however, attend all remaining classes.

Sometimes it's better to conduct training in the comfort of your own home. This way, the instructor can give you undivided attention and customized advice. Popular services include obedience training, finding solutions for problem behaviors and housebreaking. Some clients just need reassurance that they are approaching things the correct way.
